Privacy & limits
Pressing Send shares your question, any attached photo and up to two earlier questions with an external AI service. Opening chat, typing, selecting a photo or choosing an example does not send anything.
We don’t save photos or chat transcripts. Photos are resized and re-encoded, and embedded location metadata is removed before external processing. The external service normally retains abuse-monitoring data for up to 30 days, with legal or safety exceptions. Don’t include people, names, contact details, passwords or exact nest locations.
AI can make mistakes and does not check the live web. Related reading is selected from our published library; it is not a guarantee that every sentence is correct. Suggested bird matches are a starting point, not a confirmed species record. This is general wildlife information, not veterinary advice or a rescue service.
